This spell assails and distorts the minds of creatures, generating illusions and causing uncontrolled actions. Each creature in a 10-foot-radius sphere centered on a point you choose within range must make a wisdom saving throw; otherwise, it is affected by the spell.
On each of its turns, a confused creature must roll a d10 to determine what it does during that turn.
At the end of each of its turns, an affected creature can make a wisdom saving throw. On a successful save, the effect ends for it.
At Higher Levels:
When you cast this spell using a level spell slot 5 or more, the radius of the sphere increases by 5 feet for each level of higher spell slot to 4.
