Legend Lore
Name or describe a person, place, or object. The spell brings to your mind a brief summary of significant lore about the thing you named. The lore might consist of current tales, forgotten stories, or even secret knowledge that has never been widely known. If the thing you named isn’t of legendary importance, you learn nothing.
The more information you already have about the thing, the more detailed and specific the lore you receive.
The information you gain is accurate but might be couched in figurative language. For example, if you have a mysterious magic axe, the spell might reveal, “Woe to the evildoer who takes up the axe, for even the handle thirsts for the blood of the wicked. Only a true child of the mountain, pure of heart and devoted to the forge, can awaken the axe’s true power, and only then shall it speak the word Rudnogg.”
